This 8-week Saturday morning session (Jan 7 - Feb 25) is designed to help students joining mid-season to learn the information taught in their level during the fall semester. Enroll in the Parent Portal along with regular leveled class(es). First day is used to confirm that level placement is correct for that dancer; students are welcome to wear a black leotard or other color before purchasing Dress Code specific attire.
Intermediate School levels are by placement only. Placement is determined primarily by experience and achievement, with age at start of season as a secondary factor. Maturity in class, respect, and self-ownership of learning play a large role in level placements and are discussed in mid-year and end-of-season written evaluations. Typically, students spend two to three years in each level, but sometimes four at the recommendation of the instructors.
